Head Of Actuarial Reporting

Description:

MERJE is partnering with a growing Life Insurance firm to recruit a Head of Actuarial Reporting and Valuations. The role involves managing a small but growing team, taking responsibility for core actuarial reporting, capital management, and valuations as the company expands into new products and markets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the actuarial reporting function, including capital and valuation responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with the Chief Actuary and heads of actuarial and finance functions

• Define the scope of the role and contribute to strategic decision-making

• Support regulatory compliance, particularly Solvency II, in reporting and valuations

Candidate Requirements:

• Qualified Life Actuary preferred; extensive experience without full qualification may be considered

• Demonstrable expertise in capital, reporting, and valuations within Life Insurance

• Strong regulatory knowledge, particularly in Solvency II

• Interest in people management and leadership
