Head Of Bids

 

Description:

In this role, you will lead a dedicated team, ensuring alignment with Dukes' strategic objectives and optimising win rates. Your responsibilities will include developing bid strategies, conducting market analysis, and understanding customer needs to create tailored and competitive bids. Collaboration with cross-functional teams such as sales, operations, and legal will be essential to ensure proposals are comprehensive, compliant, and compelling.

 

The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record in bid management, exceptional project management skills, and the ability to deliver under tight deadlines. Attention to detail and strategic thinking are critical as you will be instrumental in influencing Dukes' market position and revenue growth.

 

As a critical contributor to the retention of existing clients and the acquisition of new clients in the public sector, you will be responsible for achieving the following KPIs:

 

  • The introduction and implementation of all necessary bid procedure, governance and processes
  • Ensuring your Bid Team write and submit 100% of proposals on time, adhering to internal and external deadlines and the bid specification/requirements
  • Retaining 100% of incumbent contracts that come out for re-tender
  • To win new contracts in accordance with the company’s annual business objectives.
