Description:
The Institute of Business Ethics (IBE), a respected independent non-profit organisation promoting ethical business practices for nearly four decades, is seeking a Head of Engagement and Communications to join its leadership team during an exciting phase of strategic transformation and growth.
Under new leadership and with an ambitious change agenda, the IBE is evolving its reach, methods, and impact. This role presents a unique opportunity to shape the institute’s voice, deepen its influence, and build stronger connections with people and organisations committed to ethical leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and develop the IBE’s external engagement strategy and communications output to expand its visibility, reach, and impact.
Manage and grow networks, stakeholder relationships, campaigns, events, and brand communications.
Act as a strategic advisor for external engagement, helping shape IBE’s reputation and voice across sectors.
Translate research, advisory services, and training insights into powerful communications content and outreach.
Oversee integrated communication efforts including digital campaigns, media relations, website, and visual storytelling.
Collaborate closely with IBE’s executive, training, research, and advisory teams to ensure unified and effective messaging.
Candidate Requirements:
A strong track record in communications, engagement, marketing, or network management, preferably in a mission-driven or non-profit environment.
Excellent writing, editing, and visual communication capabilities.
Experience in brand strategy, campaign management, stakeholder engagement, and media relations.
Familiarity with digital tools including WordPress, PowerPoint, Zoom, HubSpot, Google Analytics, and generative AI platforms; solid understanding of GDPR requirements.
A collaborative mindset, proactive problem-solving attitude, and ability to turn creative ideas into actionable plans.
