Description:

A global biotech business, with offices near Sheffield. This is a vital role within the business, that would suit someone with strong technical skills and group reporting experience.

Responsibilities include:

· Oversee / produce all monthly group accounting including the timely and accurate delivery of monthly group management accounts.

· Oversee balance sheet control and risk management.

· Manage and lead all internal and external audit processes.

· Implementing and improving financial process’ as necessary.

· Lead the group financial reporting team.

· Develop and maintain the Group Accounting Manual.

· Manage key external relationships.

· Ensure compliance with statutory reporting requirements, ensuring they fall under IFRS regulations.

· Manage and control all UK corporation tax preparation and tax estimate calculations

Skills/Qualifications:

· Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or similar)

· Proven financial reporting experience

· People management experience

· Strong communication & presentation skills

· Knowledge of reporting requirements

· Strong Excel user
