An outstanding senior marketing opportunity has opened up in a within a leading international law firm who require a highly experienced Head of Marketing, UK, US and EMEA to join their prominent team. Working closely with relevant partners, you will help drive the growth objectives of practice groups and sectors by developing marketing strategies focused on addressing clients' biggest issues, and in doing so, demonstrate the firm's commerciality and expertise in the areas in which they most want to be known. Managing a team of eight, the Head of Marketing will be responsible for driving the development and implementation of marketing strategies and plans and driving and building frameworks to support the creation of impactful content, which optimises engagement and builds reputation, relationships and revenue in key areas with target clients. Global Thought Leadership will be a key responsibility of the role holder as you will be responsible for the pipeline of global thought leadership, managing the development of thought leadership and related campaign content, and creating ongoing engagement campaigns that continuously drive traffic to the firm's thought leadership, including event strategies. The chosen applicant will manage the Events team to deliver flagship sponsorship opportunities, seminars, social events, hospitality and interactive engagement both in-person and virtually and will work closely with the Managing Partner in London and senior leadership to build an event programme that enriches relationships with important clients and pursuits. You will also manage the Alumni team to plan, coordinate and implement the alumni content strategy and targeted event programme and deliver a competitive alumni programme that prioritises member acquisition and work winning opportunities. The optimisation of marketing processes and related training will represent a key area of focus of this challenging role. The successful candidate will possess an excellent academic background or equivalent and extensive proven marketing experience gained in a similar environment, to include demonstrable success managing a team, and will ideally have marketing qualifications. Creative and strategic with excellent written and verbal communication skills, the Head of Marketing have a strong ability to confidently communicate desired outcomes and messages to senior audiences and present these with clarity, energy, confidence and enthusiasm.
