It's an exciting time to join AXA Insurance, with significant investment planned in all AXA UK&I businesses to transform, deliver exceptional service and streamline our business processes for customers. We're looking for an MI Manager to join our AXA Commercial team, ensuring the Commercial MI capability can scale and grow alongside the significant business transformation that is taking place.

You will be responsible for leading the Commercial MI Team in building and maintaining high quality MI and data visualisation to help functions derive meaningful insight from AXA Commercial data. With your expertise, you will drive the MI strategy, overseeing the migration from legacy reporting to a new suite of Power BI reporting.

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience in Financial Services, Insurance and Commercial Insurance, understanding of underwriting stakes and operations
  • Professional experience, business sense, critical thinking, problem solving and communication skills, both oral and written
  • Proven experience in leading visualisation teams in delivering strategic use cases
  • Experience of working in a cross functional data team environment and collaborating with Data Engineers, Data Scientists
  • Track record of delivery and leading teams, building sustainable capabilities whilst developing colleague capabilities
  • Programme management, showing the ability to appropriately identify resource requirements and risk management throughout the programme delivery lifecycle
  • Previous exposure to technical dimensions such as Power BI, Azure Cloud, Datalake and data modelling concepts
  • Experience in supervising and presenting business intelligence for non-technical business managers
  • Experience in managing offshore resources
