The University’s museum and photographic collections are recognised as being of national and international significance, and they are actively used for teaching and research, online and in person. They are featured at the Wardlaw Museum, the Bell Pettigrew Museum and lent for display elsewhere.

 

The Head of Museums & Photographic Collections will lead their team to develop and deliver ambitious plans and initiatives in support of the University Libraries and Museums objectives. They will have a combination of management experience and museum or heritage expertise. As part of the Senior Management Team in Libraries and Museums, they will contribute to developing and leading the strategic direction of Libraries and Museums at St Andrews, building strong relationships across the University and beyond.
