United By 2022 Charity is seeking a Head of Operations and Governance to join its Senior Leadership Team. This role is pivotal in leading operations, governance, and project management functions, ensuring robust systems, processes, and infrastructure are in place to deliver meaningful impact across the West Midlands.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support the Finance Manager and Operations & Volunteers Project Manager, providing strategic direction and professional development.

• Oversee governance: board and committee meetings, compliance, reporting, audits, and policy reviews.

• Manage core operations including HR processes, recruitment, finance systems, IT, cyber security, facilities, and supplier relationships.

• Oversee programme delivery, risk management, and reporting to funders and the Board.

• Lead cross-organisation projects, contribute to funding bids, and integrate evaluation and impact into delivery.

Candidate Requirements:

• Experience & Qualifications: Senior leadership experience, Level 3+ qualification, and relevant training in project management or business administration (e.g., PRINCE2).

• Skills: Strong organisational and project management skills, adaptable, results-driven, confident communicator, skilled in governance, stakeholder management, and MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).

• Qualities: Collaborative, culturally aware, discreet, ethical, positive, resilient in a fast-paced environment.

• Mindset: Solution-focused, embraces change, committed to high-quality outcomes aligned with the charity’s mission.
