Description:
As our Head of People and Talent, you’ll lead the evolution of our people strategy and operations. You’ll be instrumental in optimising HR systems, driving talent acquisition, implementing performance management, and cultivating a strong, scalable culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead HR Operations: Oversee onboarding, offboarding, HR policies, compliance, documentation, and HRIS systems.
- Drive Performance Management: Implement and manage structured appraisal cycles and career development frameworks.
- Own Recruitment End-to-End: Manage job scoping, sourcing, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding across all departments.
- Ensure Legal & Regulatory Compliance: Maintain adherence to UK and EEA employment laws and HR best practices.
- Support Leadership: Advise senior leadership on people strategy, team structure, and workforce planning.
- Enhance Employee Experience: Champion engagement, feedback loops, and internal communication practices.
- Develop Talent Pipelines: Build scalable hiring processes and employer branding initiatives.
- Implement People Analytics: Track key HR metrics and use data to inform decisions and drive efficiency.
- Foster Company Culture: Promote values-based culture aligned with company mission and scaling needs.
- Scale People Infrastructure: Build and refine scalable HR processes fit for a fast-growth tech environment.
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a resourceful, systems-driven People & Talent leader who can roll up their sleeves while building scalable frameworks.
✅ Required:
- 5+ years in HR roles with 2+ years in a senior HR or People Operations capacity.
- Strong operational HR knowledge across employment law, compliance, and HR tech.
- Experience designing and running appraisal and performance review processes.
- A proven track record of building and managing end-to-end recruitment processes.
- Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
✨ Desirable:
- Experience working in a start-up or scale-up environment.
- CIPD certification or equivalent qualification.
- Familiarity with hybrid working models and international (EEA) HR considerations.
- Exposure to high-growth, mission-driven organisations (health-tech a plus).
