Description:

One iota, a fast-growing retail technology provider specializing in high-performing native mobile applications for iOS and Android, is seeking an experienced and energetic Head of Sales to lead its commercial strategy and drive scalable revenue growth.

As a critical member of the leadership team, the Head of Sales will own and execute a high-impact sales strategy targeting Shopify-based retailers looking for mobile-first app solutions. This is a hybrid position based in the Manchester area, requiring both strategic oversight and hands-on execution to expand One iota’s footprint in the mobile commerce industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and own the overall sales strategy and execution roadmap to exceed revenue goals.

  • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline with high-quality opportunities.

  • Focus sales efforts on brands and retailers within the Shopify ecosystem seeking native app solutions.

  • Establish strategic partnerships with Shopify app developers, agencies, and tech vendors.

  • Engage in deep client discovery to offer tailored mobile commerce solutions aligned with prospect goals.

  • Deliver accurate forecasting, sales metrics, and performance reporting to senior leadership.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to align on go-to-market plans and close feedback loops.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated success in a senior sales leadership role within SaaS, mobile app development, or eCommerce sectors.

  • Strong working knowledge of Shopify and its ecosystem.

  • Track record of exceeding revenue targets and scaling sales operations.

  • Experience in building, leading, and coaching high-performing sales teams.

  • Proficient in solution selling and consultative selling techniques.

  • Data-oriented with strong command of CRM systems and sales enablement tools.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Passion for retail technology, eCommerce, and mobile innovation.

Desirable:

  • Direct experience selling native or hybrid mobile applications to Shopify merchants.

  • Existing professional network in the Shopify partner/merchant ecosystem.
