Description:

nCino, a global leader in cloud banking solutions, is seeking an accomplished and dynamic Head of Sales – UKI & Middle East to join its high-performing EMEA sales leadership team. This senior role will focus on expanding nCino’s client footprint in assigned territories, driving revenue growth, and leading a team of sales professionals to exceed ambitious business objectives.

The successful candidate will be responsible for attracting, developing, and retaining top-tier sales talent while providing strategic direction, hands-on coaching, and performance oversight. The role demands an individual capable of managing large-scale, complex enterprise sales cycles, engaging with C-suite decision makers, and building deep, trust-based relationships with senior stakeholders in the banking and financial services sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team across UKI & Middle East.

  • Oversee strategic account planning, pipeline management, and accurate forecasting to ensure consistent revenue growth.

  • Partner with delivery and customer success teams to maximize product adoption and customer satisfaction.

  • Drive complex B2B transactions by leveraging consultative selling, solution-based strategies, and deep product knowledge of nCino’s SaaS platform and Salesforce.com ecosystem.

  • Build consensus among key stakeholders and influence decision-making processes to accelerate sales cycles.

  • Collaborate closely with nCino’s global system integration partners to identify and execute joint opportunities.

  • Maintain process excellence through best practice development and operational discipline.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree.

  • Minimum 8+ years of successful quota-carrying enterprise software sales experience, with a track record of exceeding targets.

  • Proven banking domain expertise, particularly in commercial credit.

  • Strong executive presence with the ability to align with senior decision makers and sell to both business and IT leaders.

  • Exceptional account planning, negotiation, and closing skills.

  • Proficiency in demonstrating software solutions to clients (in-person and virtually).

  • Highly organized, with excellent administrative and process management capabilities.

  • Graduate degree or relevant professional certifications.

  • Passion for customer success and driving tangible business impact.

  • Agile problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

  • Outstanding listening, verbal, and written communication skills.

Travel Requirements:

  • Frequent travel within EMEA and between the UK and the United States as required.
