The Energy Transition Global Head of Strategic Marketing is a new role within DLL. As the Global Head of Strategic Marketing (“SM”) for Energy Transition (“ET”), you will help to contribute to the transformation of society and industry to achieve a more productive, sustainable future. You will be responsible for leading and driving the strategic marketing, digital transformation and customer experience agenda across our global team. You will play a key role in developing and implementing marketing strategies, optimizing digital channel interactions and ensuring exceptional customer experiences throughout the customer journey. As a global management team member and senior leader in the organization, this position requires: a strategic and visionary mindset; strong marketing acumen; strong global acumen; deep understanding of digital technologies; customer-centric approaches; an eye for the future; and business-minded, revenue driving approaches to marketing. You will work in collaboration with your global management team colleagues to develop the overall ET strategy and drive a high-performance culture.
Day To Day
Strategic Marketing Commercialization:


Lead the development of a partner and customer driven marketing agenda
Leverage DLL portfolio and performance data to unlock valuable insights for partners and internal teams.
Evaluate (with compliance and other relevant domains) the compliance, regulatory, and other external impacts on customers and partners and recommend implementation strategy.
Perform customer loss analysis to identify what the team needs to address to win/retain more business.
Develop and execute global marketing strategies and industry specific USPs for target markets and customer groups that are aligned with the ET and company's overall goals and objectives.
Develop global events & trade show strategy.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product positioning, messaging, and g-t-m strategies.
Define thought leadership and other content strategies and priorities to drive NBD and loyalty.
Collaborate with Communications Business Partner to develop a global, multi-channel marketing communications approach, marketing campaigns and initiatives
Product Management – consult with the Global Program Management domain and NBD to prioritize and elevate product needs to the Product Management group and with other key stakeholders, steer the research, design, and development of competitive value propositions, including product offerings, service levels, etc.


Business Strategy
Drive and manage the development, review and approval of the ET strategic plan
Lead the marketing team in the ongoing analysis to identify new target markets, customer segments, value propositions, and product opportunities with Market Intelligence, NBD and other commercial leadership.
Identify and lead strategic initiatives/OKRs that are critical to the execution of the strategic plan.
Ensure successful tracking of initiatives and ultimate execution of the strategic plan.
Proactively translate Business and Market Intelligence data into commercially viable action.
Assist in the development of prospect research, pitch presentations, new program launch plans and onboarding activities to support business initiatives in new program opportunities
Implement a segmentation model based on customer needs and other attributes that influence commercial success.
Monitor financial performance with finance and commercial leadership and adjust strategy accordingly.


Digital Transformation


Set and drive the digital agenda for the ET team while working cross-functionally to execute.


Customer Experience Enhancement


Set and drive the customer experience agenda for the ET team while working cross-functionally to execute. Design customer-centric strategies and initiatives to enhance the overall customer experience


Team Leadership And Development


Build and manage a high-performing global marketing team providing leadership, guidance, feedback, coaching and mentorship. Set clear goals and performance expectations for team members
Stay updated with industry trends and best practices and manage and guide the execution and delivery of ET marketing assets and commercial content.


Essentials
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (master’s degree preferred).
Proven experience in strategic marketing, digital marketing and customer experience roles, preferably in a global organization and preferably with some experience in the asset finance industry
Familiar with multi-cultural and international environment
Strong knowledge and understanding of energy transition trends and clean and green energy assets
Strong leadership and influencing skills with a track record of leading and managing high-performing teams.
Deep understanding of digital marketing strategies, channels and technologies.
Experience in leveraging data and analytics to drive marketing decisions.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving and strategic thinking abilities with a creative mindset
Highly adaptable. Ability to adapt to changes in strategic direction
Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives concurrently.
Exceptional communication skills (speaking and writing) in English and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
Excellent ability to build internal and external relationships across a variety of levels and cultures
Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, best practices and regulatory requirements in marketing, digital and customer experience domains.
