Description:

A leading global FinTech software provider is seeking an accomplished Head of Trading Application Support / Head of Service Delivery, Europe to lead and manage its European service operations. This senior leadership role is based in Birmingham HQ, requiring 3 days per week onsite presence, and offers the chance to spearhead service excellence across multiple SaaS trading applications used by global financial clients.

The successful candidate will be responsible for end-to-end service delivery, ensuring smooth operations, driving continuous improvements, and maintaining high client satisfaction. You will lead a team of 6 professionals based in Birmingham, while managing client relationships across Europe, acting as the primary point of contact for escalations, incident resolution, and SLA management.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing and managing all aspects of service delivery and application support across Europe.

  • Leading a team of 6 support professionals and ensuring their productivity, growth, and alignment with business goals.

  • Managing incident response, conducting root cause analysis, and ensuring quick resolution of issues.

  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and confidence in services delivered.

  • Leveraging Power BI dashboards and analytics to monitor performance trends and identify areas for improvement.

  • Driving compliance with ITIL, ISO 27001, and cloud infrastructure best practices.

  • Acting as a senior manager within the Birmingham HQ with visibility across the European client base.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in service delivery or application support management.

  • Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to influence, inspire, and manage teams effectively.

  • Prior exposure to financial services or trading software environments highly desirable.

  • Strong technical background with experience in ITIL, Jira Service Desk, Power BI, ISO 27001, and cloud infrastructure.

  • Excellent communication, client relationship management, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Salary & Benefits:

  • Competitive basic salary between £65,000 – £80,000 annually (£5416 – £6666 monthly).
