Description:
Reporting to the Managing Director, you will take responsibility for the global wholesale strategy, maintaining existing accounts and developing new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Led the team to success, hitting agreed sales and margin targets while respecting the brand's positioning.
- Review processes within the wholesale team to improve workflow and efficiencies.
- Identify and approach new wholesale partners, negotiating the best terms for successful partnerships.
- Create seasonal and yearly wholesale budgets.
- Investigate, plan, and procure new lines or categories.
- Set and manage selling margins, oversee debt and payment terms.
- Manage all invoices and ensure timely clearance of purchase orders.
- Increase customer spend through staff training and capitalize on new line opportunities.
- Manage a Wholesale Assistant and expand customer numbers while maintaining excellent service.
Requirements:
- Proven track record in developing relationships with buyers and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong knowledge of the UK and international fashion industry.
