Description:

Oxford Outcomes (part of Outcomes First Group) is seeking a passionate and visionary Headteacher to lead Longdon Hall School, an independent specialist day school for pupils aged 7–18 with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs and additional complex requirements.

This is an exciting leadership opportunity to shape the school’s future, enhance pupil outcomes, and foster a nurturing learning environment while benefiting from a 4-Day Working Week (4DWW) trial, offering a better work-life balance with full-time pay.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership to deliver high-quality, tailored education for pupils with SEMH and complex needs.

  • Inspire and manage a multidisciplinary team to achieve whole-school improvement and exceptional educational standards.

  • Collaborate with parents, local authorities, and key stakeholders to foster strong partnerships.

  • Drive innovative initiatives to enhance teaching and learning outcomes.

  • Uphold safeguarding policies and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.


Qualifications & Skills:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

  • Extensive experience as a senior leader or headteacher in SEN education.

  • Strong leadership and communication skills with a vision for whole-school improvement.

  • Commitment to continuous professional development.


Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary: Up to £80,000 per annum (approx. £6,667 per month).
