London East Alternative Provision (LEAP) is a highly-successful, high-achieving, inner-city school, delivering transformative education to young people of all ages from Primary through to post-16.

From September 2023, we expect to be providing education to at least 230 students across the full age range from Primary to Post-16 across three separate sites.

This is a particularly exciting time to be joining our team - as we increase the number of our provisions across the borough of Tower Hamlets by opening our new satellite centre in the heart of the Isle of Dogs and expand our already very high-functioning team of teachers and support staff.

Applications are invited from talented, hard-working and committed individuals for the post of Health & Social Care/Child Care Teacher at our school. The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate a strong commitment to the LEAP aims, values and ethos and a proven track record of delivering excellent outcomes for students, including those with complex behavioural needs.

We are looking for a dynamic, committed specialist with an in-depth understanding of all aspects of the KS4 Health & Social Care and Child Care curricula. The ideal candidate will have a proven academic knowledge of and a wide range of practical skills in the specialist subjects.
