Canaan Care Ltd is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join their team in Accra. This is a full-time, on-site position offering the opportunity to provide high-quality care and support to patients while working in a collaborative and patient-centered environment.

As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a critical role in supporting patients with their daily needs, assisting with the administration of medication, ensuring compliance with health and safety protocols, and maintaining accurate patient records. The position also involves performing manual handling duties and offering emotional and physical support to patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being at all times.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

• Provide both emotional and physical support to patients

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Manual Handling skills

• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities

• Experience in patient care and support

• Basic knowledge of medicine and dosage procedures

• Awareness of health and safety practices in clinical settings

• Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail

• Relevant certifications or training in healthcare assistance are advantageous
