HGV Driver

Description:

The duties and responsibilities of the role will include:
 

• To report to the Business Services Manager or an officer delegated with the responsibility.
• To ensure vehicles are road-worthy before, during and after each shift.
• Carry out safety checks as detailed in the drivers’ log books.
• Complete drivers log books fully and truthfully.
• Report defects and accidents immediately.
• To sort and recycle loads where appropriate.
• Carry out tasks as assigned, including loading of goods, waste and any other item that needs transporting.
• Clean the vehicle (inside and out) at least every two weeks or as directed.
