As a Project Manager, you will join our Local Government Highway’s team, based in Northallerton. You will have the opportunity to work on a range of significant projects and you will be pivotal in driving the quality and timeliness of the service we provide.

A Typical Week Would Include

You will be required to assist with management of projects and programmes of work. Duties will include:

  • Coordinating between various project team members ensuring projects are delivered on time, to budget and to the agreed quality standard.
  • Preparing progress reports and attending client project review meetings.
  • Engaging with a wide range of project stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Developing your understanding of the technical/engineering risks and mitigations for your projects.
  • Developing project management plans including project scope, baseline programme, fee estimate, roles and responsibilities, risk analysis, technical review requirements and managing progress meetings, and producing weekly/monthly reports.
  • Complying with ISO standards, client processes and procedures and WSP’s business management system.
