As an HIU Engineer, you will be responsible for a range of technical and customer-facing duties, including:

• Commissioning, servicing, repairing, and fault finding on HIUs (Heat Interface Units).

• Installation, commissioning, and occasional repair and servicing of mechanical ventilation and heat recovery systems.

• Smart metering and Pay As You Go (PAYG) system commissioning and ad hoc repair.

• Professional communication with clients to deliver first-class service experiences.

• Preparing accurate and timely site reports within the company’s CRM system.

• Participating in manufacturer and in-house CPD training to achieve recognized industry qualifications.

• Adhering strictly to Health and Safety regulations and ensuring all work is performed safely.

• Occasional short-term travel and overnight stays may be required.

Candidate Requirements:

• Qualifications: NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing & Heating (desired).

• Technical Skills: Competence in plumbing, heating systems, and low carbon technologies.

• Knowledge: Familiarity with HIUs, PAYG, and smart metering systems advantageous.

• IT Skills: Proficiency in MS Office and CRM database management.

• Soft Skills: Strong communication, customer service, teamwork, and time management skills.

• Personal Attributes: Highly organized, motivated, and safety-conscious.
