Description:

Oxfam are looking for an experienced HR Reward Admin Manager to join our busy HR Reward Team. You will join us at a pivotal time of transition and change for the organisation, as well as for the HR service. We are about to embark on some exciting projects which will shape the way we do things moving forward and we would love for you to join us to be part of that journey.

What you’ll be doing:

In this role, you will be providing day-to-day oversight and management of transactional HR activity across a range of reward related activity in the UK and internationally. In particular: administration of insurance related benefits (e.g. life assurance, medical); administration of the international payroll and pay review, individual staff tax compliance and end of contract payments. A key focus of this role will be to review the team portfolio, activities and structure to ensure most efficient and effective operational delivery to support our focus on customer experience.

An ideal candidate for the role will also be / have:

  • Experience of managing performance of others and helping people to develop, grow and achieve their potential, including increasing diversity and inclusion in teams and / or workplaces.
  • Experience in setting up/delivering/improving compliant and effective end-to- end administrative processes and systems to deliver efficiencies, culture change and improve ways of working (e.g. employee lifecycle).
  • Significant experience and understanding of managing and advising on international reward administration and policy including insurance and tax.
  • A good communicator, able to write communications suitable for senior management audiences.
  • Good time management, and able to manage conflicting priorities.
  • A high level of numeracy and analytical skills.
  • Excellent IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel where a high level of competency is needed.
  • Excellent skills in customer service.
  • Demonstrable experience in making decisions and problem solving to enable effective and compliant solutions to complex or ambiguous problems.
  • Experience overseeing the work of others to enable results.
