Description:
Hemiko is seeking a motivated HSE Administrator to support its Health & Safety operations at its Sheffield office. Reporting directly to the Health & Safety Manager, this role is essential in managing the company's safety documentation, scheduling audits, ensuring compliance with health & safety systems, and maintaining accreditation standards.

The successful candidate will handle day-to-day administrative responsibilities in support of Hemiko’s Integrated Management System, facilitate document control, and contribute to continual improvement across safety operations.
Serve as the main point of contact for company document-related inquiries.
Ensure documents follow company format, are properly reviewed, approved, and stored according to set procedures.
Administer and maintain the ‘Atlas’ Health & Safety system.
Forecast and schedule internal audits and track corrective actions.
Manage documentation and compliance for external certification bodies (e.g., CHAS, SMAS, Safe Contractor).
Support Health & Safety committee meetings with administrative tasks, including minute-taking.
Ensure smooth servicing and updating of accreditation platforms and certifications.
Strong organizational and analytical capabilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other document control systems.
Experience with document version control and document tracking processes.
Comfortable liaising with team members at all levels.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Base salary up to £30,000 (pro-rata: £14,400)
