ICT Support Technician — Tower Hamlets, East London

Connetix provides hands-on ICT and computing support to primary and secondary schools across London Boroughs, with a focus on East London. We're looking for an ICT Support Technician to join our team and help schools get the most out of their technology.

The role

• Full time, 12-month contract (option to extend) — 9:00am to 5:00pm
• £21,000–£27,000 depending on experience
• Based across schools in the Tower Hamlets area

What you'll be doing

• Resolving technical issues for schools quickly and effectively
• Logging and tracking jobs on our helpdesk system
• Updating schools on progress after each visit
• Completing daily server checks
• Keeping school infrastructure documentation up to date
• Acting as the key point of contact for technical matters

What we're looking for

• Experience with computers, iPads, Chromebooks and mobile device management (MDM)
• Knowledge of MS Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, Google Workspace and/or Meraki MDM (a strong advantage)
• Great communication skills — able to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical staff
• A proactive, can-do attitude and the ability to work independently
• Educated to GCSE/A Level or equivalent
