Independent Assessors

We are looking to recruit hourly paid independent assessors to conduct end-point assessments (EPAs) of our apprentices on our Ofsted Outstanding, award-winning Digital and Technology Solutions Specialist apprenticeship programme.

Independent assessors need to be independent of the training delivery and will not have been involved with the apprentice's employment, have not taught on the Digital and Technology Solutions Specialist apprenticeship programmes at Manchester Metropolitan University.

We Currently Have Apprentices On The Following Specialisms
 

• IT Strategy Specialist
• Software Engineering Specialist
• Data Analytics Specialist
• Cyber Security Technology Specialist
   

Essential to the role

To assess on the Digital and Technology Solutions Specialist apprenticeship, you will be able to demonstrate you have:
 

• Competence and academic qualifications to at least MSc level in the fields covered by the relevant specialism in the apprenticeship standard (e.g. software engineering etc.), together with a minimum of 3 years' experience in that field obtained no later than two years ago.
• Competence and experience (minimum three years, obtained no later than two
• Familiarity with the apprenticeship standard and specialism defined in that standard related to the apprenticeship undertaken.
