Description:

Psicon Ltd, one of the UK’s leading providers of neurodevelopmental services, is seeking dedicated and qualified ADOS Clinicians to join their Independent Clinician Network in Dorchester. The role offers flexible working opportunities, allowing clinicians to manage their schedules while providing high-quality, evidence-based diagnostic assessments for children and young people.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting comprehensive ADOS assessments as part of a Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) for children and young people.

  • Engaging and communicating effectively with neurodiverse children, young people, and their families, ensuring a supportive and professional approach.

  • Collaborating with internal staff and external partners to ensure consistency and quality in service delivery.

  • Producing detailed, accurate, and timely clinical reports in compliance with professional and organizational standards.

Requirements:

  • HCPC registration in one of the following professional areas: Clinical Psychologist, Counselling Psychologist, Educational Psychologist, Speech and Language Therapist, or Occupational Therapist.

  • ADOS-2 certification (essential).

  • Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality clinical assessments and reports.

  • Experience across all ADOS modules, including Bosa (desirable).

  • Evidence of reflective practice and commitment to professional growth (e.g., participation in Psicon Reflective Practice Meetings, ADOS Q&A sessions, or CPD events).

  • Strong communication skills and good IT literacy.

  • Flexibility to work across different clinic models, venues, and days of the week.
