Description:
The role assists the Information Security Team to ensure that security controls are implemented, monitored, and maintained in accordance with regulatory, contractual, and organisational requirements. The successful applicant will also engage with other areas of the business to assist with their Information Security enquiries, as well as helping ensure that a strong security and privacy culture is maintained across the organisation.
Your Role In Our Future
- Assist with the administration and maintenance of Quadient’s ISO 27001:2022/ISO 27701:2019 certified ISMS/PIMS
- Investigate and resolve security incidents
- Maintain risk registers and ensure risks are identified, recorded, assessed, and treated appropriately
- Maintain legal registers
- Complete supplier security assessments
- Support internal and external audits, including certification and surveillance audits.
- Support management reviews with relevant metrics and insights
- Assist with information security enquiries from other business areas and promote adherence to Quadient’s policies and best practices
Qualifications
Your profile:
- Basic understanding of information security concepts (CIA triad, risk, controls)
- Awareness of ISO 27001 or similar standards (academic or practical exposure)
- Proactive, self-motivated with strong organisational skills
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to follow processes and work under guidance
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools (Excel, Word, Teams, SharePoint)
- Exposure to ISO 27001:2022 or ISO 27701:2019 environments
- Knowledge of GDPR or data protection principles
- Familiarity with basic IT systems, networks, or cloud services
- Internship, placement, or entry-level experience in IT or security
- Degree in Information Security, IT or related field (or equivalent experience)
- ISO 27001 Foundation / Lead Implementer / Lead Auditor
- ISO 27701 Foundation
- CompTIA Security+
- Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) or similar
