Description:
As an Information Security Analyst at Lyra Health International you will play a crucial role in protecting our organisation’s Information systems and data from cyber threats. The role responsibilities include, but not limited to, monitoring networks for security breaches, implementing security measures, and responding to incidents, ensuring compliance with best practices, policies, and regulations.
The role is full time, reporting to the Sr. Manager, International Security and IT.
This is a remote working position with a requirement to attend meetings at the London based office when requested. May require occasional off-hours work during security incidents.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in monitoring system security events using current security technologies.
- Investigate security incidents and respond appropriately to contain and mitigate threats.
- Support vulnerability assessments and risk analyses to identify and remediate weaknesses.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of security policies and procedures.
- Assist with compliance initiatives (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA).
- Collaborate with IT and business units to implement and audit security controls.
- Assist with employee cybersecurity awareness training initiatives.
- Prepare reports detailing security incidents, assessments, and risk status for stakeholders.
- Process incoming customer security assessment requests.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest security trends, threats, and technology.
Experience
Experience & Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in information security, cybersecurity, or IT security roles
- Experience in healthcare is a plus
- Experience working with international companies is a plus
- Candidates with familiarity with the Lyra International security infrastructure have an advantage
- Strong knowledge of firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, anti-virus software,
encryption, and content filtering.
- Familiarity with security frameworks, such as ISO 27001 and CIS
- Ability to assess risk and apply appropriate security measures
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Experience with cloud security ( Azure, AWS, GCP)
- Familiarity with data privacy laws and compliance requirements
Qualifications
- BA degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Cybersecurity. Equivalent
