Description:

Handelsbanken is seeking an Information Security Specialist to act as a trusted advisor for business stakeholders, providing pragmatic and cost-effective security solutions tailored to customer needs. This role involves owning one or more of the team's security processes, systems, or frameworks, maintaining specialist knowledge, and evolving these in alignment with global and local standards, regulations, and best practices.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing specialist advice on Information Security best practices and UK regulatory requirements to various stakeholders during product, process, and system development.

• Leading risk and control assessments, including external supplier due diligence, privacy impact assessments, and project security.

• Designing and delivering innovative training and awareness activities on information security and privacy to enhance colleague engagement.

• Leading assurance activities to evaluate the effectiveness of information security controls and risk management systems.

• Managing information security queries from branches and colleagues to ensure robust risk management.

• Acting as lead Duty Incident Manager on a rota basis to handle information security and personal data breaches, ensuring proper risk assessment and mitigation.

The ideal candidate is pragmatic, collaborative, and able to balance risk and control with commercial objectives. Strong problem-solving skills, the ability to influence decision-making, and a positive approach to relationship building are essential.
