AXA UK is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Product Owner to join the AXA Blueprint project, a strategic transformation initiative aimed at revolutionising the company’s commercial operating model. This project will introduce innovative changes in processes, people, and technology to deliver measurable improvements in gross written premium, loss ratio, and expense ratio.

In this role, you will be at the forefront of driving operational excellence and strategic transformation within AXA Commercial. You will oversee the delivery of multiple project releases, working collaboratively with diverse teams to implement next-generation working methods and ensure alignment between business priorities and project outcomes.

This position is ideal for an individual passionate about modernising commercial insurance through innovative, customer-focused product ownership and agile delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the voice of the business, interpreting and representing business needs and validating solutions to align with strategic priorities.

• Support strategic programme direction by influencing priorities and shaping product features for maximum business value.

• Manage and prioritise the release backlog, ensuring all deliverables align with business requirements.

• Facilitate incremental planning and delivery, maintaining a well-structured workflow to support efficiency.

• Communicate the release vision and roadmap clearly to stakeholders and represent business perspectives during demonstrations and feedback sessions.

• Make informed and timely decisions to keep the programme on track and ensure successful delivery.

• Collaborate with multiple internal teams and senior stakeholders to ensure alignment and seamless execution across the organisation.

• Mentor and coach other product owners across diverse disciplines to strengthen the product management community within AXA.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

• In-depth understanding of commercial insurance, particularly underwriting.

• Experience working in an agile environment preferred.

• Proven ability to make decisive business decisions under pressure.

• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.

• Experience with benefits realisation and driving measurable outcomes from change initiatives.

• Ability to lead and mentor other product owners from varied business backgrounds.

• Must be eligible to work in the United Kingdom.
