Description:

Haskoning seeks an Associate to join its Major Infrastructure Planning Practice. The role involves providing technical leadership and project management support on multidisciplinary Major Infrastructure projects, managing consents and compliance, developing client relationships, and supporting the delivery of complex projects in the UK. The position emphasizes both client engagement and technical expertise across highways, transport, and traffic management projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead project and programme management for Major Infrastructure Planning projects.

• Deliver Major Infrastructure consents and ensure ongoing compliance.

• Provide technical leadership in highways, transport, and traffic management projects.

• Develop and maintain strong client relationships, identifying new commercial opportunities.

• Implement stakeholder engagement strategies and translate feedback into positive project outcomes.

• Mentor peers and early-career professionals and contribute to industry knowledge.

• Participate in professional associations, working groups, and policy discussions.

Qualifications:

• Consultancy background with experience in DCO/NSIP planning processes.

• Strong project and programme management experience for major infrastructure projects.

• Detailed knowledge of highway design principles and technical approvals.

• Professional qualification such as Chartered Engineer or TPP (or equivalent).

• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to convey complex ideas.

• Understanding of UK transport policy and industry trends.
