Innovation Manager

 

Description:

You’ll be part of Aviva’s Group Innovation team – a close-knit, senior team that reports directly to our Chief Innovation Officer. The team leads the enterprise-wide innovation agenda, developing new ideas, test what works, and turn insight into action. In this role, you’ll oversee the design and launch of new propositions. From exploring customer needs to validating ideas and taking them to market, you’ll help bring fresh thinking to life. You’ll work closely with colleagues across Aviva and with external partners to deliver meaningful change.

 

Skills and experience we're looking for

  • Knowledge of insurance and/or wealth, with a strong sense of how markets and customers are evolving
  • Hands-on experience in creating and delivering new propositions - from research through to launch
  • Familiarity with innovation tools and approaches, including design thinking, service design, and test-and-learn
  • Confidence in making decisions using evidence, with the ability to assess commercial potential and manage risk
  • Excellent communicator who can bring others along, work across teams, and stay focused on what matters most to customers
