Innovation Scout

The Innovation Scout will become an advocate of our opportunities and source the most disruptive solutions in the market in line with the needs of our clients. This role entails the practical aspects of scouting for emerging trends and innovative solutions. It’s a chance to develop transferable skills applicable across industries. Under the guidance of experienced professionals, you’ll gain expertise in specific sectors, refining your ability to source, identify and evaluate opportunities for our corporate clients.

You will be:

• Conducting interviews and supporting in workshops to identify what challenges our corporate clients want to solve and building this into a detailed brief.
• Conducting market research to identify trends across a broad range of sectors and support in drafting a client report
• Sourcing and outreach to startups/scaleups from around the globe that fit the designated brief.
• Building relationships with suppliers to inform them of the opportunities L Marks’ can provide through our partner programmes and supporting them through our process.
• Going to events monthly to establish positive connections across the ecosystem to widen our referral and marketing network.
• Scoring/screening the most relevant startups/scale-ups in line with criteria agreed with our corporate clients.
• Pitching high-impact start-up solutions to corporate clients combining data, storytelling, and a deep understanding of their needs.
• Assisting in the smooth running of our corporate events e.g. Pitch Days.
