Inside Sales Engineer

Description:

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Inside Sales Engineer, located in Wath Upon Dearne. The Inside Sales Engineer will be responsible for managing day-to-day sales activities, responding to customer inquiries, and providing technical support. Key tasks include preparing quotations, understanding customer requirements, and offering tailored composite bearing solutions. The role involves close interaction with the manufacturing team to ensure customer needs are met.

Essential:

• Comfortable using Office 365 (Outlook, Excel, Teams, Word, etc.)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Willingness to learn and take direction
• Positive attitude and resilience in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Desirable (but not required):

• A degree in a technical field (e.g. Mechanical Engineering), even if the grade wasn’t stellar—we value effort and curiosity over academic perfection
• Basic understanding of technical concepts or industrial products
• Previous experience in sales, customer service, or admin roles (but we’ll train you if not)
