Description:
As an Inside Sales Executive for the French market, you’ll drive Contentful’s growth by leading the end-to-end sales process from prospecting to close. You’ll be instrumental in driving new revenue opportunities, customer expansion initiatives and leading a consultative sales process with Professional developers and business leaders, including marketing professionals. Working in partnership with Customer Success teams, Solution Engineers and other sales units, you will help drive a fast-moving, efficiency-focused SMB motion.
As an Account Executive in this critical market, you will be the point of contact for both customers and prospects. Your role is to identify and develop new sales opportunities and grow existing accounts while ensuring customers meet their business objectives with Contentful.
Key Responsibilities
- Pipeline Generation: Proactively create and manage a robust sales pipeline using various channels, including but not limited to partner networks, outbound prospecting, and event attendance.
- New Business Development: Identify, engage, and close new business opportunities within the target prospect base.
- Account Expansion: Cultivate and maintain relationships with existing accounts to drive upsell and cross-sell opportunities, ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term retention.
- Sales Strategy: Develop and execute effective sales strategies to meet or exceed individual and team revenue targets.
- Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new sales opportunities.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, product, and customer success, to ensure a seamless customer experience and to leverage resources for successful sales campaigns.
- Reporting: Track and report on sales activities, pipeline status, and results using CRM and forecasting tools e.g. Boostup to provide visibility and insights into sales performance and activities
What you need to be successful?
- 1+ years of B2B SaaS sales or BDR/SDR experience
- Full fluency in English and French
- Experience in generating pipeline and an understanding of the process involved with closing new business, embodying a sales led mindset
- Experience with a "land-and-expand" sales model
- Experience with a Product Lead Growth sales model a plus
- Familiarity with complex technical solutions to customers who span distinct divisions (e.g. marketing, IT, sales leadership)
- History of working closely with other sales roles to drive business
- Ability to understand the Contentful API and discuss outcomes with multi-threaded relationships across C-level stakeholders highly technical individuals
- Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
- Drive, passion and enthusiasm for the role and an understanding of the input needed to be successful
