Our client is a world-class investment manager with a long-standing reputation in private markets. With significant assets under management and an established presence across EMEA, the firm specialises in delivering innovative private credit solutions to institutional investors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the senior relationship lead for key institutional clients in the UAE, including sovereign wealth funds, pension schemes, endowments, and consultants
- Originate, negotiate, and close substantial new business opportunities focused on private credit strategies
- Craft and implement a UAE-specific sales and business development plan, with a clear focus on market segmentation and prioritisation
- Expand existing relationships, driving asset growth across the region’s largest and most sophisticated investor base
- Partner closely with client service and investment teams to ensure seamless onboarding and an outstanding client experience
- Maintain deep technical knowledge of private credit products, actively collaborating with investment professionals
- Utilise market intelligence and management information to inform strategy and support overall business objectives
- Foster effective internal collaboration to support client needs and enhance business outcomes
Essential Qualifications/Experience:
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in institutional sales within asset management, with a clear track record in private credit
- Highly developed network and established relationships with UAE-based institutional investors, especially across the sovereign wealth and pension sphere
- CFA, CAIA or equivalent professional qualification preferred
- Demonstrable ability to raise major assets and manage an extensive, complex client portfolio
- Commercially astute, positive, and dynamic, with the gravitas to represent a global leader in private assets
- Proven entrepreneurial spirit and in-depth knowledge of the competitive landscape
- Outstanding communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills
