We are recruiting for a dynamic, energetic and inquisitive Insurance Trading Manager to join The Retail Team within Aviva. Are you someone who has the confidence to constructively challenge the status quo whilst leading a virtual team and driving change? This is a great job for someone with the ability to translate extensive KPI data into meaningful insight, and drive action off the back of it, with strong communication & big energy.

A bit about the job:

In this role, you will support the wider retail team and drive initiatives across the business to boost our overall end of year end customer numbers, sales and GWP (Premium) for Direct, with a specific focus on Home as identified as a growth opportunity. You will identify performance actions to drive measurable improvements & be proactive in looking for trends, opportunities, and risks. You will embed new products/propositions across the retail direct team and will work closely with the wider virtual team to agree approach. The Direct Trading and Projects Manager will also work closely with Risk & Compliance colleagues to ensure relevant controls/checks are in place across retail products, systems & processes and communicate recommendations from Risk/Compliance to retail team.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

• Experience and strong knowledge of the Insurance market is essential

• Working in a regulated environment, experience of taking financial promotions to market

• Experience working with key stakeholders ( Marketing, Pricing, Product) to drive the trading agenda.

• Understanding of the key drivers/levers of performance

• Strong leadership credentials, ability to listen, influence, engage and motivate a virtual team
