What is the role
The purpose of this role is to manage our Premium Rate Telephony Service (PRTS) business across all Paramount channels in the UK and contribute to the generation of revenue for the wider Commercial Development department, with a specific focus on Channel 5.

Is this the role for you
The management of Channel 5’s existing Premium Rate Telephony (PRTS) business
Produce premium rate competitions for broadcast from programme commission, through to winner management. Working closely with external production companies and internal teams
Manage internal and external relationships to ensure our premium rate competition campaigns are set up and broadcast correctly, fairly and compliantly
Be responsible for ensuring compliance within Ofcom, PhonePaidServices, Gambling Commission and C5 Programme Compliance guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:
The day to day running and administration of Premium Rate competitions and Interactive Telephony services for Paramount, focusing on Channel 5
Working closely with and supporting the Senior Interactive Solutions Manager to deliver successful broadcast competitions to time and budget
You will be working across numerous projects at any one time – so the ability to manage a varied workload is important
Assist in the management of our third party fixed line and mobile telephony partners
Responsibility for ensuring compliance with Ofcom, Phone Paid Services, Gambling Commission and privacy guidelines
Responsibility for the PRTS Management Sign-Off (digital) folders which document all actions relating to premium rate services and form the basis for our annual third party verification audit.
Maintenance of the Management Sign Off system for organised documentation of all premium rate competitions for audit
Liaising with prize providers to source editorially relevant prizes, timely sign offs, competition terms and ensure appropriate winner management. Taking responsibility for choosing the most editorially relevant prize for a series competition.
Liaising with Programme Management, Commissioners and production companies in advance of series production to ensure that the competition is included in the series production schedule.
Writing compliant competition voice over scripts for competition production
Liaising with Compliance on competition scripts and any other business
Compiling footage and footage instructions for production of the competitions
Approving competition graphics - Liaising with production and prize providers to make sure the competition graphic is accurate and compliant/ signed off as factually correct by the prize donor before final sign off and delivery for TX - Sometimes across numerous edits
Communicating with creative services on a regular basis to ensure that all creative requirements and deadlines for competitions are met
Communicating the competition details with all relevant C5 teams, Fonix, Nunki (when a series goes to press) to ensure the competition opens on time and is clocked and scheduled accurately for TX.
Checking Campaign Request Forms from our Mobile Service Provider to ensure the competition campaign and correspondence to entrants is accurate.
Communicating with programme planning team to ensure efficient and accurate scheduling of promotional airtime competitions.
Liaising with On Air Communications regarding promo airtime competition scripts
Chasing prize suppliers and/or winners for confirmation of prize delivery or booking.
Updating Telephony Operations in a timely manner of any incidents
Testing competition lines.
Managing all payments for Interactive Solutions on Market, Paramount’s internal payment system and tracking across Excel spreadsheets.
Managing SMS marketing campaigns and analysing viewer response.
Processing all winners of competitions/ writing letters for any requested prize changes.
Notifying Media Planning of the latest clock numbers for competitions to make sure all non-“live show” competitions are scheduled correctly. Checking the schedule against the competition clock numbers.
Responsible for licensing all stock footage used in competitions on a quarterly basis.
Editing the competition zone at channel5.com/win - including reformatting video content and images, adding terms and conditions and winners.
Bi-annual competition stats overview.
