Interim Finance Director

Partner Interim are working with a leading consumer brand renowned for its innovative approach and commitment to excellence. With a rich heritage and a best-in-class portfolio of products, this iconic company is seeking an experience Finance Director to lead their financial operations during a transformative period. Reporting to the CFO You will be responsible for ensuring financial integrity and operational excellence across the division.

Key Responsibilities:

• Reviewing current control and accounting processes to ensure they are as streamlined and automated as possible
• Implementing an effecting team structure that can be scaled as the business grows in the future
• Leading the year end close process and managing the upward consolidation to the Group function
• Ensuring working capital is optimised and cash targets are achieved
• Owning the annual budget and regular forecast process for balance sheet and cash

The ideal candidate

• Qualified accountant
• Recent exposure to IFRS and UK accounting standards
• Experience managing the relationship with HMRC
• Significant experience leading teams across transactional finance as part of an international group
• Retail or FMCG sector experience is highly desirable
• Previous exposure to S4 HANA is advantageous
