Robert Walters is excited to be partnered with a high growth specialist engineering firm, based in the UK and with offices around Europe are looking to appoint an experienced Internal Auditor for a newly created role. Based in the UK, you will work closely with the local operations and the Parent company based in China
The Role Includes The Following Responsibilities
- Key stakeholder liaising and interviewing in order to establish the key areas of risk and need for process improvement.

- Process and controls review work in all areas of the business - IT, Sales, Marketing, Finance, HR to name a few

- End to end audit exposure - scoping, through to testing and reporting.

- Wider business adhoc finance work to understand the wider finance

- Investigative audit work - Forensics, fraud, crime etc

- Support the Senior Management team in developing, maintaining and where appropriate owning key stakeholder relationships

- Identifying business risk and compliance issues and working with the Senior Management team to ensure the businesses put in place appropriate control systems to manage those risks and issues
- Motivating, leading, coaching and supporting colleagues during projects as appropriate to ensure skills, knowledge and experience is effectively shared and utilised
The Successful Applicant
- The ability to speak fluent Mandarin is required and must have experience working the Chinese Stock Exchange CSRC
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIA, MIIA qualification
- Internal or External Audit training with an established track record of audit experience should ideally have had exposure within a commercial multi-national organisation and / or exposure of working in a large internal/external audit function.
- Good knowledge of financial reporting standards, (e.g. US GAAP, IFRS) and Sarbanes Oxley compliance programmes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a high fluency of English.
