As an Internal Communications Officer at Royal Holloway, University of London, you’ll have a fantastic opportunity to support the delivery of informative and engaging communications across the University. The post holder will work within a small team to create communications for students and staff, delivered primarily via digital channels. To generate compelling, relevant, and inspiring content, the post holder will develop a strong network of stakeholders across the University, helping to ensure that communication is timely and relevant for a highly diverse audience.
A graduate, or with a relevant professional qualification, you will be a great writer, with experience of developing written and audio-visual content for use online, familiarity with using social media, preferably within a professional communication and marketing context, excellent IT skills, with experience of using MS software packages and strong organisational skills with the ability to adapt to shifting deadlines.
Experience of using video and photo editing software is essential to the role and experience of working in a busy marketing or communications environment, using content management systems would be an advantage.
