Description:
Educated Appointments, a respected and rapidly growing training provider, is seeking an experienced Internal Quality Assurer (IQA) to join their Manchester-based team. This hybrid position offers an exciting opportunity for a quality-focused professional to make a real impact in enhancing the standard and consistency of apprenticeship delivery across the organization.
As an IQA, you will play a key role in maintaining, monitoring, and improving the quality of apprenticeship provision, ensuring all learners receive high-quality training and support that aligns with Ofsted expectations and the organisation’s vision of excellence. You’ll work closely with the Quality Manager and training delivery teams to promote a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
Coordinate and conduct a range of quality assurance activities aligned with internal frameworks.
Carry out observations, sampling, and shadowing to assess the effectiveness and quality of training delivery.
Collect and analyse feedback from learners, employers, and other stakeholders to identify improvement areas.
Maintain accurate QA records, action plans, and evidence of impact to support compliance and performance reviews.
Identify trends and insights that can inform continuous improvement initiatives.
Produce detailed, high-quality QA reports that guide management decisions and support internal and external evaluations.
Support the preparation for external quality assurance visits and Ofsted inspections, ensuring readiness and compliance.

The ideal candidate will bring solid experience in apprenticeship quality assurance, a recognized IQA qualification, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement. You will be comfortable delivering constructive feedback, analysing performance data, and driving measurable improvements across teams.
Essential Skills and Attributes:
IQA qualification (essential).
Recent, relevant experience in apprenticeship quality assurance.
Strong understanding of Ofsted standards, EPAO processes, and funding regulations.
Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
A collaborative, solution-focused mindset with strong attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
