An opportunity has arisen for an Internal Sales Executive to join us at Midland Lead, an award-winning, Family-run lead sheet manufacturer that offers a comprehensive range of products to both national and independent building and roofing merchants. - Speaking to customers on the telephone, pro-actively seeking new business by targeting a combination of existing and prospective customers by utilising CRM and sales information;
- Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales and after-sales service;
- Developing long-standing customer relationships - assessing customer needs and providing solutions;
- Achieving KPIs on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis;
- Working alongside external teams to meet KPIs within your designated area to meet with budget expectations;
- Providing suggestions for future marketing campaigns and customer promotions;
- Collaborating with the team to provide feedback on market activities and provide recommendations on improving all customer related activities;
- Liaising with the Production and Finance teams;
- Ensuring all phone calls, emails and fax requests are dealt with in a timely and professional manner.
At Midland Lead, we’re looking for an Internal Sales Executive with the following:
- Excellent telephone communication skills with the confidence and ability to chat with customers to build rapport and create sales opportunities;
- Excellent customer management skills;
- Ability to prospect, negotiate and close deals, and have a basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices;
- Excellent internal account management skills, including customer service and internal support;
- Basic computer literacy and keyboards skills.
