Description:
You will need to be an England & Wales qualified solicitor. The ideal candidate will have previous experience of working on investment funding transactions within the pensions sector and is someone who:
- Is familiar with fund manager investment documentation across a wide range of different investment mandates e.g., Equities, Infrastructure, Timberland, Alternative Credit, Hybrid, Private Equity, Real Estate.
- Is familiar with Derivative documentation such as ISDAs and GMRAs.
- Has worked on investment funding transactions and is able to negotiate side letters.
- Can work with external lawyers from legal panels (who will provide the legal due diligence on the fund documents) and tax matters (and liaise with advisers from Tax Panels) and can subsequently advise the investment team progress the transaction.
- Is able to work to funding transactions deadlines.
- Is confident working with different stakeholders across the business.
- Is able to pick up other miscellaneous investment matters such as amendments to documents, Most Favoured Nation letters, opening new accounts, onboarding requirements, tax documents (W8-BEN forms for example).
