Description:

As an expert in technology for the organisation, you will provide a comprehensive, proactive, customer focused IT service for both team members and residents. Acting as a lead for implementing improvements to the business activities through technology, you will build relationships with teams and individuals across the organisation to support their evolving requirements. As an approachable individual, you will support the business to develop the overall IT skillset and knowledge to achieve improved organisational efficiency.

Key Tasks

  • Lead and deliver technical projects to support the wider Digital Transformation Programme for the organisation.
  • Provide excellent support to team members across the business and manage the internal support desk, dealing with complex issues and escalating calls to relevant 3rd party support, suppliers and vendors.
  • Manage the IT onboarding of new starters as they join the organisation and lead the IT aspect of the leaver process.
  • Lead the support of the organisation's Business Critical Systems, capturing requests for changes and system upgrades, and also providing internal training when required.
  • Take responsibility for data integrity and access to business essential data, files, systems and licensing.
  • Arrange, lead and deliver user training sessions where necessary on business systems and equipment.
  • Work with the Corporate Services Team to ensure IT systems are compliant with current regulations and maintain these standards.
  • Be responsible for managing the Waste of Electrical and Electronic Equipment.
  • Manage the relationship with external communication providers (phone/internet) to ensure the business connectivity is maintained.
  • Contribute to Mount Green’s ambition to provide and deliver Value for Money, by ensuring that all IT processes and practices make the best use of the business resources.
  • Be responsible for the documentation and monitoring of key internal IT procedures.
  • Meet both team and individually set objectives, and support the delivery of the organisation’s overall annual objectives as set out in the corporate plan.
  • Actively support Mount Green’s purpose, mission and values, including placing residents at the core of our work.
