We are currently looking for an IT Apprentice to join our IT Team. You will be a core part of the team, based out of our Southampton office.

Throughout the apprenticeship you will spend time in each of the 5 internal IT departments (Field Services, Infrastructure & Architecture, Applications Development, Projects, and Innovation & Support) to get a broad knowledge of all aspects of IT support.

Blake Morgan’s internal IT Team support our 5 offices, ensuring users have the technology required to do their job. From implementing and upgrading WAN and Wi-Fi, building and setting up laptops, raising purchase orders, project management as well as day-to day queries and equipment requests, the team are kept on their toes. Spending time with each of these departments will let you get hands-on with everything that’s going on.

The successful applicant will study an IT Solutions Technician Level 3 apprenticeship (work-based).

Skills / Experience Required

* Good spread of GCSEs (A*-C or 4-9) including English and Maths

• Previous IT experience would be advantageous

• Excellent organisational skills are essential

• Ability to work as part of a team and use own initiative

• Good writing and IT skills

• Accuracy and attention to detail

• Flexible attitude and strong work ethic

• Capable of managing a varied and demanding workload

• Proactive and positive 'can do' attitude

• Self-motivation and willingness to learn and improve

• Committed to rigour around treating all clients fairly
