It Apprentice

We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable person who has a keen eye for detail and a passion for technology. You’ll ideally have at least 4-5 GCSEs at grade 4 or higher including ICT or equivalent, or already have good hands-on IT experience.

The role has great potential for the right candidate to progress within the organisation to 1st Line Engineer / Field Engineer / Desktop Support Engineer.

Your duties and responsibilities in this role will consist of:

• Setup and configuration of laptops, desktops, mobiles, and tablets.
• Carry out diagnostic checks / fault finding.
• Installing new hardware and software.
• Carry out hardware upgrades.
• Dealing with 1st level customer hardware issues.
• Accurately log time and notes in the Helpdesk System.
• Learning how to provide technical support using remote management software.
• Updating and maintaining customer asset registers.

Qualifications:

5 GCSEs grades A*-C/9-4 or equivalent (including English Language and Maths)
