Description:
Key responsibilities include (but not limited to):
- Identify, analyse, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets, and provide ongoing reports.
- Develop and implement data collection systems, data analytics, and other strategies that optimise statistical efficiency and quality.
- Fully engage with data governance initiatives, implementing the reporting of data quality indicators that facilitate data improvement.
- Contribute to the data architecture framework and principles for ‘how’ data is collected, used, processed stored, and consumed.
- Lead project plans for activities, undertake workstream activities and liaise with peer and supervisory team members.
Key requirements include (but not limited to):
- Bachelor’s degree (in mathematical, statistical, scientific or engineering discipline) or equivalent work experience.
- Extensive knowledge of and experience with Power BI or a similar data visualisation tool.
- Able to describe using database design, development, and modelling techniques to produce more effective analytical solutions.
- Able to identify data quality issues and facilitate data improvement by influencing the use and design of systems.
- Able to provide expert level analytical support and identify opportunities for insight within business functions.
- Demonstrable track record as a point of escalation for issues.
