Description:
As an IT Dispatch Engineer, you will specialise in the preparation, packaging and dispatch of all IT equipment including, laptops, iOS devices, printers and peripherals. You will also be responsible for fulfilling Service Requests (e.g. additional / replacement devices and peripherals.)
You will oversee the delivery of incoming items and will need to monitor and control stock levels whilst keeping the IT Systems up to date to maintain an accurate account of stock levels.
You will be part of the wider User Services support team and collaboratively work with the DVSA Service Desk. In addition to your technical skills, you will have opportunities to build positive relationships with end users, demonstrating effective communication skills, and deliver consistently high levels of user satisfaction and adherence to agreed Service Level targets and KPI’s.
When supporting you will specialise in second line troubleshooting technical issues for end users, be they hardware or software related. You will also be responsible for fulfilling Service Requests (e.g. software installs; hardware installs; moves and changes). You will investigate and resolve issues for users where this can be achieved remotely, without the need for site visit.
