Main Duties

• Own and manage Helpdesk entries, prioritising entries and providing resolution to end user within departmental KPIs
• Setup and deploy end user devices, install windows and software images
• Maintain and provide current computer software images for computer vendors
• Provide level 1 troubleshooting (Windows desktop operating systems, mobiles and hardware)
• Provide level 1 support for core business applications (MS Office, Epicor, CAD tools, etc.)
• Ensure the hardware is up-to-date (latest drivers and firmware)
• Setup and deploy IP based phones to users
• Perform and publish inventory of hardware / software / licenses for audits and reporting
• Perform day-to-day user management (setup / change / deactivate) in the A/D and IT managed systems
• Help document and develop IT processes and procedures for IT desktop support
• Provide support and assistance with IT software testing
• Interface with vendors / 3rd parties for desktop support topics
• Ad-hoc duties within the IT department
• To be aware of and follow all company Health & Safety policies and procedures including feeding back any H&S information to management
• Be aware of and demonstrate the company values and behaviours

Candidate Profile

• Experience of supporting / troubleshooting and configuring a range of Windows based products in a Helpdesk environment
• Advanced knowledge and experience of current Microsoft desktop and server operating systems and Baker Perkins core applications
• Broad knowledge of hardware, software, communications, and general technology in the corporate arena
• Able to work under pressure, both alone and as part of a team and prioritise tasks accordingly
• Customer focused and be responsible for level of service given
• Good communication skills and able to communicate at all corporate levels on the telephone and in person
• Some out of hours work is required
• Bi-lingual would be an advantage (French, Thai, English)
• Office based role (not remote)
