Sure Exec Search is currently hiring an IT Project Manager / Agile Delivery Lead on behalf of a leading global financial services organization. Based in the City of London, this hybrid role is ideal for candidates who excel at both traditional project management and agile methodologies. The successful candidate will take charge of the end-to-end delivery of multiple strategic technology initiatives within a small, collaborative software development team.

This is a contract position inside IR35, offered through an umbrella company, with a daily rate of £450–£550 and a duration of 3–6 months, with strong potential for extension. The organization seeks a pragmatic leader who blends technical expertise with stakeholder management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage full lifecycle delivery of technology projects—from inception to completion—including governance, planning, execution, and reporting.

• Organize and lead Steering Committee meetings, preparing concise, impactful presentations on project status, risks, plans, and decisions.

• Lead agile ceremonies including sprint planning, retrospectives, and backlog refinement as part of the Digital Solutions Development team.

• Foster collaboration between business and technology teams to drive alignment, remove obstacles, and ensure project success.

• Track and manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and budgets.

Candidate Requirements:

• Demonstrated success managing complex programmes/projects in a technology or financial services environment.

• Leadership experience in agile settings (Scrum Master, Agile Coach, etc.).

• Familiarity with Microsoft tools such as PowerApps, Power BI, Power Automate, PowerShell, SQL Server, GitHub, and Azure.

• Excellent communication and documentation skills—capable of independently producing high-quality decks, reports, and diagrams.

• Confident in stakeholder engagement at all levels, including senior management.
